One Wish Studio

Living and growing up around the wonderful countryside of Cornwall, I have always felt a connection with nature and all the wonders it shows us.

 

As a child I would become excited when the flowers began to blanket the gardens, hedges and forest floors with all sorts of colours, and to see all the shades of green in the trees' leaves. Seeing all this beauty became my drive to build my skills and share these wonderful things with everyone.

 

Alongside the beauty I found in the natural world, there has been more to learn than just skills and techniques. A deeper element that touches people and transcends words, I believe that when we create something that we put our heart into a part of the creator is also captured within, leaving an impression, with this in mind when creating something with beauty it also comes from within, it comes from our hearts. When I draw or paint with a heart full of compassion, gentleness and purity, the pieces of work flows. But when there has been anger, disharmony or negative thoughts the work then contains this and thus always feels like a battle ground. So it is important to have a harmonious and tranquil area and that our hearts are also this way.
